Our Language Courses

At Berlitz Edinburgh we offer private and small group  courses. Our standard courses offer you everything from a highly intensive schedule to a more relaxed programme of study.

The content of the private courses can be tailored to suit your individual needs. You may, for example, wish to concentrate on legal French or perhaps to prepare for a specific occasion such as a meeting or presentation in German

The small group  courses can be either general or specific, depending on the needs of the group as a whole. Our group courses normally run in the evening, but if you and some friends wish to form your own group then we would be happy to provide you with a class whenever you wish.

Our normal focus is on strengthening your fluency and comprehension skills to ensure that you have the knowledge and confidence to speak and understand in the foreign language to the best of your ability.

We work hard to consolidate and improve you grammatical knowledge and accuracy, we build your vocabulary and we ensure that your pronunciation is as correct as possible.

Four Key Stages of Your Course

Before your course starts all students are:
•    Given full support and information regarding all aspects of their course
•    Offered free online tests

At the start of the course all students are:
•    Given an initial welcome talk
•    Issued with a handbook giving important information
•    Provided with a 24 hour emergency telephone number.

During the course  all students are:
•    Provided with support from the staff in all issues relating to the their course

At the end of their course students are given:
•    Report
•    End of course certificate
•    End of course feedback chat
